I've explained why I watch Christmas whenever I'm sad...and by movies I mean Love Actually.

Well I am proud to admit after careful consideration of many Christmas movies I have decided that This Christmas is worthy of the honor of being one of my feel good movies. Its not as mushy as Love Actually, which is nice sometimes. Also it lets me wonder what my life would be like I was born black, which is already something I ponder often, so thats nice too.

Mainly sometimes I wish I was her in the movie..

Cause she is marring him...

I don't hate Chris Brown being there either.

I'm a big fan of finding a song that has anything to do with what I'm doing. High School Musical style. So now every night I get to look out my window and see the fully light up Boston skyline! I absolutely love it!!!  and every night sara bareilles is in my head..

In other news...tonight is the Athlete BBQ! time for free shirts and food....and meeting the athletes that we will most likely be obsessing over for the next calendar year! can you say new basketball recruits

I verrry good friend of mine watches The Notebook very often. Why? cause she is silly. I don't even like that movie. I'm obviously not a true girl..."just one of the guys"-so i've been told.

Anyways...I can't judge because I also have a certain movie that I always turn to. I am so watching it right now. It has created much needed laughter.

I do not love this movie just because Hugh Grant falls madly in love with a brunette girl named Natalie with "sizable thighs" and he says her name with an adorable accent. it helps though

Camp

I LOVE my job. tomorrow is the last day of real camp...so I will share a few memorable quotes from my kids this year!

I finally went to California for the weekend!!!!! I feel like a true Arizonian, the kind that just goes to Cali and goes to the lake and quading all the time (we'll work on the last two). Anyway it was Perfect. My parents, Terri and I stayed in Manhattan beach and it was sooo nice. We went to that beach on Saturday morning. On Saturday night I FINALLY went to Hollywood. I've been begging to go to Hollywood and Beverly Hills since I was like three!! My parents always make some excuse and complain about LA traffic but this time the took me.  I have a habit of loving areas people think are sketchy like Hollywood Bl. but hey I love knock-offs and crazies and people-watching and anywhere where I know famous people have been. The next day we went to Venice beach which I heard had all of the true crazy people. That was completely accurate. My dad tried to get me to buy Bob Marley boxers, I refused.  I did however by one of those straw cowgirl hats and wore it like I should be on one of the real housewives of somewhere shows.  We even got my dad to stop at the outlet malls on the way home. A family vacation was just what I needed and this one was just what I wanted...perfect!!!

I forgot to mention that me and Terri both got burns so bad they blistered. She was to cool for sunscreen and just got burned on her arms.  I put sunscreen on but still got burned all down the backs of my legs and my butt. I seven hour ride home was soo comfortable.  Also among the many things I learned in California was that I am neither a medium top nor an extra large bottoms. Both were falling down every time a wave hit me. so awkward.
